IBPS PO 2026 Notification Overview

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the Probationary Officer (PO) examination every year to recruit officers in 11 public sector banks including State Bank of India associates, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, and others. The IBPS PO 2026 notification is expected to be released in July-August 2026 with approximately 4,000-5,000 vacancies.

IBPS PO 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before starting your preparation, ensure you meet the eligibility requirements:

• Age Limit: 20 to 30 years as of the registration date. Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwD (10 years), and Ex-Servicemen categories.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year students can apply provisionally.
• Nationality: Indian citizen, or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee settled in India before 1962.
• Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge of computer systems is essential.
• Language Proficiency: Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak the official language of the state they are applying for.

Quantitative Aptitude Strategy for IBPS PO 2026

1. Read & Note: Read all conditions carefully. Make a rough diagram/table immediately.
2. Fixed Information First: Place all direct/positive clues before attempting negative clues.
3. Cross-Verify: After completing, verify every condition to ensure no contradictions.

Target: Solve 3-4 puzzles daily. Start with easy ones and gradually move to moderate and difficult levels.

English Language Strategy
