Welcome to Shortcut Maths. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at theshortcutmaths.com, our online mock test platform at exam.theshortcutmaths.com, and all coaching services provided at our centres in Jadavpur and Dumdum Nagerbazar, Kolkata.

By accessing our website, enrolling in a course, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services We Provide

Shortcut Maths offers classroom and online coaching programmes, study materials, mock tests, counselling, and related educational services for competitive examinations including but not limited to CAT, MAT, SSC, Bank, Railway, WBCS, and Defence exams.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility and Registration

  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration or enquiry.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials created on our platforms.
  • You must be at least 13 years of age to use our website. Minors should use our services under parental or guardian supervision.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel enrolments if false information is provided.

4. Admission and Fees

  • Course fees must be paid as per the fee structure communicated at the time of admission.
  • Fees can be paid online through secure payment gateways or offline at our centres.
  • Admission is confirmed only after receipt of the required fees and completion of documentation.
  • Batch timings, faculty assignments, and centre locations are subject to availability and may be changed with reasonable notice.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] or at our centre within 7 days of payment.
  • Refunds are processed at the sole discretion of Shortcut Maths management and may be subject to administrative charges.
  • No refund will be issued after a student has attended classes for more than 3 days or accessed paid online content.
  • Course transfers to another student or batch may be allowed with prior management approval.

6. Code of Conduct

All students and users must:

  • Behave respectfully towards faculty, staff, and fellow students.
  • Not engage in cheating, plagiarism, or misuse of mock test platforms.
  • Not share login credentials or copyrighted study materials with unauthorised persons.
  • Not use our platforms for unlawful, harmful, or disruptive activities.
  • Not record, reproduce, or distribute classroom lectures or online sessions without written permission.

Violation of this code may result in suspension, expulsion, or legal action.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and platforms, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, study materials, question banks, and software, is the property of Shortcut Maths or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may use the materials solely for personal, non-commercial study purposes. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without our written consent is strictly prohibited.

8. Online Mock Test Platform

  • Free and paid mock tests are provided for practice and self-assessment purposes.
  • Test scores and rankings are indicative and do not guarantee actual exam performance.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform and are not liable for technical issues beyond our reasonable control.
  • Users must not attempt to hack, scrape, or manipulate the platform or its content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shortcut Maths and its directors, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our website, services, or inability to use them.

While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that the information on our website is complete, reliable, or error-free. Exam dates, syllabi, and government notifications should be verified from official sources.
